Pros

The work is very easy; some of the clients are prestigious; if you work hard at the client site the client may pull you over to their own firm and see how horrible Relcapp is then get rid of Relcapp and you can bask in the joy that they are cutting Relcapp off of their payroll.

Cons

The positive review below alone shows how manipulative the senior management of the firm is -- writing their OWN reviews just to entice future employees of this hell hole. Beware: they WILL keep you on the back burner until more work comes in, and get rid of you as soon as the work is no longer there. They will find reasons to blame the ANALYSTS for the failure of an engagement and fail to look at their horrible business model, non-working technology (in which they sell as advanced technology but really is GOOGLE-ing people's names all day). The only reason that their private equity client keeps them on as a vendor is because the CEO of Relationship Capital Partners is a board member of one of their portfolio companies. They simply keep Relcapp to keep their board member happy but have never found a use in the technology that is sold to them. Bob is one of the biggest liars I have ever met. He continually will tell you about his vast fortunes from previous entrepreneurial ventures when really he was unemployed for a large chunk of time -- clearly not basking in any sort of wealth. He will make promises of bonuses, benefits, etc that will never, ever come through. Bob and Martin will find reasons to pay you as little as possible -- keep you on as a contractor, then when you come on full time, give you a pro-rated "bonus" if a bonus at all or a "cash advance" that later will come out of your salary. The stuff that they pull should be / may be illegal -- especially as they list the HQ as in "Short Hills" when they actually BORROW space for free in NYC. If you speak your mind and disagree with the upper management and express real concerns, they turn a blind eye and then blame the analysts for the failure of the program. This company shouldn't exist anymore.

Pros

Major improvements in the technology platform in the last couple months, looking forward to a commercial release in the fall. Clients are lined up to beta test and the team is focused on getting the new solution to market. Big hiring moves lately as well which have added more experience and skills to the team.

Cons

A lot of concurrent client commitments means people have to contribute more time and focus. This is not necessarily appealing to everyone.

Pros

It was great to walk into a start-up environment (this was 2013) with very mature, strategic relationships with senior management at many of the top global companies in financial services and other industries. It was exciting to have access and interaction with the founders, witness and contribute to the roll-out of Relcapp's SaaS analytics solution and consulting engagements. It was useful to see how feedback from their key initial clients shaped the evolution of their service through constant iteration. Appreciated working in a collaborative environment with smart, hard working people across the board.

Cons

The challenges were what you would expect at company that early in it's life, but I knew that going in. There was plenty of hard work, late nights and stress around successful delivery to key anchor clients, and big bets on the service strategy. I've been gone for about 1.5 years but Relcapp seems to have won some big new SaaS clients and I got some good informal feedback from a couple of existing clients.
