Pros

- Fast paced and efficient without the backbreaking work that other new space companies often impose on employees - Leadership generally does care and will address employee concerns and communicate clearly (within reason) - Company does actually care about diversity and equity and puts in the effort to try & make everyone feel welcome

Cons

- Long beach buildings are not the nicest physical places to work. Wormhole building is very spread out and very loud, and Portal building has no air conditioning. - Sometimes it feels like I'm the odd man out for being interested in my job outside of work instead of having more diverse hobbies - Middle of the pack compensation for a tech company -- high base pay but nothing else (no stock, 401k, or bonus) - Inconsistent promotions -- under my old manager it felt very unfair, but under my new manager it is much better thankfully. - Very frequent management shakeups, *especially* in the 2022-2023 timeframe. Barely a month went by without some kind of re-org.

Pros

Amazing benefits & on-site amenities. Generous PTO, Sick and holiday schedule. Great place to learn and get foot in the door of aerospace. Great hub for young talent industry wide you are given a lot of autonomy of your work day.

Cons

Toxic leadership & senior management. Promotions and raises are not determined by merit, the company allows nepotism which is rampant in every aspect of the company. Would much rather turn a blind eye than address long term issues with a toxic work environment. The minute you stop being a yes man and start challenging the status quo in the name of efficiency, you are targeted by leadership and subsequently pushed out one way or another. You'll be fine if you are personal friends of management.
