Pros

people oriented founders, some hard-working employees

Cons

Lack of transparency on the product development and project management. Inexperienced senior management - Many of them lack managerial, communication and conflict resolving skills. Power games happen very often however people who've been working for + 2 years don't bothers to report it to HR or founders as any of these will have no impact on their behaviours - Double standard applies on "old employees" who are filling the key roles. Questionable hiring/promotion process for key roles - the employees already know who will likely get the position or be promoted internally (external candidates end up wasting their time no matter how qualified they are for the role). In opposite, if you are in the manager or mid-senior level, you will pretty much have no chance to climb the radder in the organisation without the right people on your side. Politics - The biggest problem. Lack of diversity, gender pay gap - The diversity matter got improved a span of years but the company still have a lot to work on. While being highly proud of 50/50 ratio of male/female employees, no big improvement on the gender pay gap.

Dear former colleague, Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear that your experience here at Remerge did not meet your expectations. We will certainly discuss the points you raised to see how we can improve and we would also like to share our thoughts on them: Hiring/promotions We open almost every new role to both internal and external applicants and we try to involve all relevant stakeholders in the process. That includes hiring managers taking the input of the future peers and reports into their decision making. At the end of this process, we select the candidates that we believe are best suited to the respective roles. Management skills We are proud to offer career opportunities, including managerial roles, to colleagues of all ages and backgrounds. For those who are in their first or second role as a people manager this does of course represent a growth experience that may come with some bumps in the road. In order to support our people managers with their growth and development, we launched our 18-months long leadership program in Q2 2020 which consists of tools and sessions for self assessment and reflection as well as both professional and peer coaching and workshop modules and we are very happy with the results so far. Politics We cannot really comment without knowing more specifics but politics and power games certainly go against both our core values and leadership principles. Diversity & Equal Pay We will continue to work on broadening diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the company and in management but we are are glad that you recognize that we have made improvements already, a lot of which is actually due to our efforts to identify, promote and develop internal talent. In terms of pay gap, our diversity committee which we launched in Q3 2020 is currently looking into this topic. While the final analysis is pending, I can already share some interesting data points as of Jan 2021: - The highest paid employees in Germany and the US are both female and the two highest paid employees in Singapore are also both female. Those countries represent more than 90% of our workforce. - In all countries where the highest paid employee is not female, such as Korea and Japan, our second-highest paid employees are female. That is of course only part of the whole picture (though a very important one) and we will continue to evaluate pay equity and do our best to address any issues we discover. Once again, thank you for your points, we wish you all the best!

Pros

The work-life balance can be fully realised here, and it's great that there is a lot of respect for employees and plenty of room for personal development!

Cons

I don't feel bad about anything for the time being after being here for over a year.

- The company feels like a 'dead-end' for those looking to advance their careers. - The process is sometimes too inflexible. - Their product competitive advantage is strictly limited to retargeting.
