Pros

Small office. Potential to make money if they'd stop pulling the carrot away from you with false promises.

Cons

Long days. Cutthroat owner. He hired a sales rep who landed the company it's biggest client. As soon as the new client signed the contracts he fired the sales rep. Didn't need him any longer. Doesn't give a flying F about his employees. Talks out both sides of his face.

Pros

Don't waste your time. These people are pathetic. I mean pathetic. There is absolutely no ownership of accounts. If a call comes in and you have already setup a payment plan, but didn't get the banking info the first time you spoke to the debtor, but they are calling to make the payment on the date you scheduled, forget about getting credit for the payment, whoever answers the phone gets the payment, even though you had already put the notes on account the payment arrangement. . I absolutely could not believe these people operate this way. You would think they would want to keep an employee that was collecting money hitting bonus a month on the job, but no they would rather keep employees that didn't know what CVV was. The managers had noting better yo do than nit pick everything you did. There was never good job, they always found something wrong with your work. There was only 5 employees that had been there longer than 6 months. So that should yell you something. The potential income on indeed is a lie. They do whatever it takes to not give you credit for payments that you get. If the account is older than 6 months you don't get credit for it. Worst company ever. You will feel like your in a damn daycare with bully managers.

Cons

Pros

Good location. Surrounded by good restaurants, bars, shops, and supermarkets. Starbucks and Jersey Mike's are less than five minutes.

Cons

This is an ideal place to work if you only want or expect a paycheck and nothing else, or if you are in between jobs and need immediate income before you land a more lucrative job that offers a better future. There is no future at Remex if you are smart, talented, and driven. They will use your knowledge, talent, and hard work for their own personal and financial gain. If you do receive a raise, it is not enough to cover the rising cost of living. As far as job security is concerned, Remex overworks its employees. They overwork their employees due to high turnover or layoffs/discharge. The remaining employees must perform lots of additional work to make up for the high turnover. This drives some people to quit. Some are discharged without any warning. This probably saves the company more money because they can pay one person to do two or three jobs. However, their inability to retain a skilled workforce has led to overburdened employees and reduced morale. Management practices are poor. They only seem to know micromanaging. There is also favoritism and unfairness. If management has any personal bias against you, then they will not make any attempt to place you in a different department or job that may best fit your qualifications and skills. Instead, they undervalue you by keeping you in low skilled, menial jobs with no chance for real advancement or growth. I also experienced a few microaggressions. One former employee, in management, asked me if I could clean their house even though I have a college degree and always held office/corporate positions. This employee saw me working in the office, on a computer, and on the phone. Another said she thought English was my second language. This probably explains why they didn’t want me to advance. My advice is to keep searching. Don’t waste your time, hard work, and talent.
