Your license is always at risk here, everything is the nurses fault and they understaff everything. Micromanagement is there favorite thing but don’t help with stuff that matters. They don’t like keeping any staff with a backbone and the first time you mess up they will get rid of you. Management acts like a whole bunch of mean girls. Every experienced nurse I worked with is trying to get new jobs. Multiple travel nurses have left bedside because of renown. There is a reason why they offer 30k sign on bonuses… the higher the dollar amount the further you should run.
Also they have an awful attendance policy (5 occurrences in a rolling year), mandatory staff meetings, and other mandatory things that consume your free time. No work life balance especially during the on boarding process.
Oh and a fun thing they do is when they hire you they don’t tell you about the “on call” shifts that you are required to do once a month that you ALWAYS get called in for… basically mandatory overtime. And on top of that most of the time you are running understaffed.
