      AMAZING PLACE TO WORK! - First Officer Trainee Republic Airways Employee Review

      I recently got hired for a first officer position with Republic Airways and let me just say, I’m Sold! I’m sold on their absolutely state of the art training facility/campus and just how amazing their personnel and staff are. I have never felt more invited at any other regional airline, and every pilot that I interact with absolutely loves their job. I would like to especially show gratitude to Kimberly Barras as she is a shining light and example of a perfect republic airways team member. Their consistent warm welcoming and training program is a recipe for success to any Pilot candidate. Excited to be here!

      Pros

      Travel benefits on American, United, Delta, jumpseat agreements with other carriers and ID travel on most other airlines including international carriers. Great starting experience and introduction to working in aviation.

      Cons

      Will hire just about anyone, were hiring by video interviews alone at one time, so quality of people varied. Notorious for base closures, got displaced at least 5 times due to base closures. All bases in Midwest and northeast. In the past most bases were in outstations and noncommutable. Low pay.
