Pros

They have tons of money, decent benefits, and a willingness to spend.

Cons

Absolutely no Direction, everyone who wants a project funded gets it funded. Even though they may have five other products just like the one you want to implement, it will get funded, and they'll try to figure out a purpose or use for it once its complete. They lack security, they have little or no IT security, they are in a outsourcing mood, they will outsource any thing they can, but again seem to do it in the most wasteful manner possible.

Pros

The pay is competitive, especially with overtime opportunities, and there is strong potential to earn a solid income for employees willing to work hard. The job also provides steady work and consistent hours, which can be valuable for drivers looking for financial stability.

Cons

The work/life balance for roll-off drivers can be difficult, particularly when working weekends. Drivers are often scheduled in a way that keeps hours under 60 while still requiring Saturday work, rather than being given an additional recovery day during the week. With the level of physical labor involved, one day off is often not enough to properly recover. There is also a heavy emphasis on “swinging” containers. While swings can make sense when locations are far apart, many are scheduled for stops that are very close together and provide little operational benefit. Swings add significantly more physical labor for drivers and, in some cases, can actually take longer than traditional service methods. Over time, consistently working 55–60 hour weeks under these conditions can lead to fatigue and burnout.
