Pros

Our director at the Indianapolis location call center is awesome. He is willing to listen to everyone and try to understand their concerns.

Cons

They are inconsistent, their communication is terrible, they don't stand by their word. The expectations they have on their employees and especially supervisors is ridiculous. They do not file their own leadership training. They do not treat each person equally. They tell you one thing but then do another, constantly changing their business plan and model. It is like building an airplane while flying it. Not one person does things the same way and no clear answers on which way is the correct way. They claim to have a good culture but in reality that's not true. You find out that everyone there is shady and talks badly about everyone behind their backs. You can't trust anyone, not even management.

Pros

The pay is competitive, especially with overtime opportunities, and there is strong potential to earn a solid income for employees willing to work hard. The job also provides steady work and consistent hours, which can be valuable for drivers looking for financial stability.

Cons

The work/life balance for roll-off drivers can be difficult, particularly when working weekends. Drivers are often scheduled in a way that keeps hours under 60 while still requiring Saturday work, rather than being given an additional recovery day during the week. With the level of physical labor involved, one day off is often not enough to properly recover. There is also a heavy emphasis on “swinging” containers. While swings can make sense when locations are far apart, many are scheduled for stops that are very close together and provide little operational benefit. Swings add significantly more physical labor for drivers and, in some cases, can actually take longer than traditional service methods. Over time, consistently working 55–60 hour weeks under these conditions can lead to fatigue and burnout.
