Pros

RLC is a very hands on learning experience. Even though it has been around for a couple of years, there is a start up feel because you wear numerous hats at once. For me that is a pro- but maybe not for others. Taking initiative is a must but it gives you creative freedom. There is room for growth and the feel of having impact on a great company and amazing cause! You learn so much about how small non-profits are run & you really see the impact your making to help feed those in need.

Cons

The con could be similar to the pro, by wearing numerous hats you may sometimes feel lost but just ask for help!

Pros

Having weekly collaborative meetings with my manager was what I looked forward to, and the overall culture of RLC was very friendly and casual (yet professional at the same time), 10/10 would recommend my friends who are looking for digital marketing experience to add to their resume.

Cons

Having to juggle responsibilities outside of the internship had its challenges at times, but fortunately, the staff was very accommodating and understanding of my situation and I consider my manager a great person who listened to my concerns and new ideas and actually made the internship experience valuable for me.

Pros

The people are all very talented and dedicated. You have some creative freedom when it comes to campaigns and outreach

Cons

There is not much guidance besides from the team leader, who wears quite a lot of hats. Be prepared to fly solo and take initiative
