There were red flags about the Executive Director from the beginning and I wish I had listened to my gut. She's a narcissist prone to angry outbursts who cares more about her reputation than serving the organization's mission and values loyalty over competence. Her personality and management style trickles down through the organization. People are constantly stressed out and there's a ton of infighting and backstabbing in the organization. I cannot say this strongly enough: stay away from RFA. It's the kind of toxic work environment that ruins careers.
