Pros
- lovely people - structured first 2 weeks - can work on a range of projects
Cons
- grads and junior execs are overworked and underpaid. The company is very hierarchical and cliquey. - Other companies pay a lot higher salaries for the same role with better job progression. - RP are very backwards and haven’t modernised their approach. There is no HR department to provide support to staff. - the company rely on people being nice and a few perks for employees staying here - in reality, other companies provide much better perks and rewards (such as early Friday finish, proper pay reviews, more annual leave etc) - Directors treat junior staff with a lack of respect and like they are disposable. No appreciation for hard work and set unrealistic expectations which they then take the credit (and bonus!) for. Grads - do NOT apply here and rather spend your valuable time applying for other companies who will treat you how you deserve. RP’s whole business model replies on naive grads being recruited, to then pile the work onto them and pay them next to nothing for it. Please save yourself the stress and value your mental health and go elsewhere, and try not to be tempted by the way the role and company is marketed (they have spent a lot of money making it look better than it actually is!)
