Great campus at Bella Vista, great products and continued company growth and expansion due to new products and services. Yearly pay rises and bonuses. Some great people and sense of purpose within the company.
Cons
Whilst reviews are supposed to be done based on meeting set standards, these standards are assessed by people whose KPI's are to find and point out mistakes. The more errors found (coming down to ambiguity) the closer the reviewer comes to achieving their goals. If you are not part of the 'team' you will have a very bad time. The magic words 'this will not pass an audit' leads to re-work and resubmission and much extra time wasted. This doesn't give much job satisfaction. One of my review examples: "This specification is for..." changed to "This document is a specification for..." Job progression is almost non existent, there are many vacancies and new positions, but almost impossible to move to new roles within the company. The technical roles are maybe 25% engineering and 75% paperwork/reviews/meetings. Promotions not given due to technical competence. The ability to schmooz with middle management will get you further in this company than ability.
