Thank you for your review, and your insightful comments from 2015. We are proud of our focus on honesty, transparency, feedback and our "open door" policy. As well, we try our hardest to be flexible, helping employees to find more balance in their lives between personal and work. The cons are also insightful from where we were in 2015. Since then, we've invested time, introspection and effort to address these concerns and improved on them.

Pros

The leadership team is deeply committed to both client success and employee development, and it shows in everything we do - from the way we build strategy to how we celebrate wins and navigate challenges. I’ve had a front-row seat to a culture that genuinely values trust, transparency, and continuous improvement. We operate in a fast-paced environment, but never at the expense of integrity or team health. Cross-functional collaboration isn’t just encouraged, it’s expected and modeled at every level. What makes Response Media truly unique is our client-centric ethos. We don’t just serve clients; we partner with them, driving measurable business impact through data-led, performance-driven marketing. And internally, there's a real sense of ownership and momentum. If you’re someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where smart people work hard, think deeply, and grow together, this is the place for you. Pros: Mission-driven, values-based culture Smart, driven colleagues who care deeply about their work Strong commitment to client satisfaction and innovation

Cons

High expectations and roll up your sleeves mentality, this is not a “coast” culture (but that’s a pro if you’re growth-oriented).

Pros

You get to wear a lot of hats and possibly be exposed to multiple areas

Cons

Leadership won't support the newer or younger folks getting educated, going to conferences or seminars, traveling for any type of education, unless it's free. They treat their people very poorly-- salary-wise, and respect-wise. At the end of the day, what the owner wants is what happens, even if there are solid, research-backed reasons that it should happen another way. Reviews or raises aren't organized or consistent. Today there are new leaders who seem to be ruling the roost and doing so based on ego and appearances but unfortunately not on substance. This company continues to get smaller, salaries are cut, bonuses are skipped without mention, and everyone at the top is looking around for a reason that they should get richer but not feeding or supporting the footmen. They'll change the formula, or create an entirely new one, when it's time for bonuses that are clearly stated in your contract. Insurance coverage is poor. They've let people go who have been there for decades and really know their area, without any solid basis. It's definitely a "leaders eat first" kind of place.
