Pros

None, any thing good is all a facade.

Cons

Lower-level positions are seemingly ok, climbing the ladder at Responsible is a bad career move. Holding a position in the head office team at Responsible is all well and good until you see through the facade of what appears to be support for you career, wellbeing, mental health and treating you as a person. This facade soon fades when empty promises of the good projects and opportunities are given to outsourced individuals on a regular basis. They are trying to quickly install the right way of managing but it is a rushed process of young managers learning on the job with no senior guidance. During 121 meetings promises of good opportunities are given, only for those opportunities to be given to contractors, leaving in-house teams to remain on the mundane 'monkey work' that really should be what is outsourced. They do not respect the talent they have hired and DO NOT PAY WELL! If you want to earn below industry-standard and be given uninspiring work, then you'll be in your element. I spoke up about my expectations regarding pay, quoting the current industry standard, and within a matter of months was let go from the company after over 6 years of employment. They clearly have budget for hiring more contractors, but not for fair payment of their teams. They speak of being 'family oriented' - take this as a RED FLAG! In addition to above, there is a big problem with transparency. The upper management have a steel door between themselves and the rest of the company. The drip-fed information is often disingenuous. I believed it was a good place to work for many years, I felt supported. However, when I look at where others in the industry have developed in the time that I spent at Responsible, I see that I was held back both in opportunities and in payment. Save yourself the time and find a place to work that will actually support you and your career, rather than just fill you with empty promises and leaving your pocket empty.

Pros

There's a nice vibe about working here which is difficult to put your finger on but definitely there. Leads are strong and have a good understanding of why I'm going to see them.

Cons

I work remotely visiting clients so travel is extensive but that's part of the job!
