Pros

As someone who joined Retreat Guru late in the game, I have been extremely impressed with the company culture. An incredibly refreshing change of pace from modern corporate environment. - Great work/life balance all around - Incredibly supportive team across all departments - Top-down transparency with a leadership team that trusts their employees and make them feel empowered in their work - Open-minded and really do listen to the ideas of other people on the team

Cons

This is truly one of the first times where I can say there I do not have any cons working with Retreat Guru. It has been a really great experience overall!

Pros

- Open and transparent company culture. There are no secrets here, and everyone is encouraged to be open and honest about everything - Flexible schedules and work locations - It puts humans first. Everyone is encouraged to bring their whole selves to work and not have a firm work life / personal life divide. Everyone is very understanding about struggles and commitments outside of work - It's not a company where you are expected to work 50, 60, 70 hours a week. They promote a good work-life balance, and are understanding and supportive of family life, kids, and other commitments - It's not a profits-at-all-costs company. They value slow, sustained, manageable growth that makes sure their employees are taken care of - We work on products that are meaningful and contribute to a better world

Cons

- Some may be disappointment with the lack of certain benefits (eg. retirement plan). As a small company, I think they're working towards offering more benefits - The software is complex and can take a long time to figure out how to use, but eventually everyone gets there - Sometimes the openness of the company can be stressful, like worrying about things you can't control. Overall, though I think the openness contributes to the great company culture
