Pros
Learn a lot about sales. Most importantly the skills needed to have a successful career in sales.
Cons
Nothing that I can think of.
Pros
If you want to become a sales professional, Revity Sales is a perfect company to start your sales journey. Other starting sales positions will not give you the opportunity to be thrown into the business world like a position within this company does. It is a place where you will quickly learn how real business operates and the importance of executing effectively to keep existing clients, and generate new business. As it is a startup, as I have already said, you take on more responsibility than the majority of entry-level positions out there. With this, you have the opportunity to invest in yourself and make a good living, especially if it is your first job out of college. The owner, Tom, has a wealth of experience and success throughout his career, and you have direct access to that knowledge. Additionally, he wants you to succeed not only because it is in his best interest for the company he created, but more importantly because he wants aspiring sales professionals to achieve success and go on to build strong, lasting careers. The two sales managers are highly skilled salesmen who both started here, and their success has been proven time and again. There is a scoreboard in sales, so there is no denying their results. The culture here is one of my favorite parts. Everyone is hardworking as well as genuinely good human beings. Lastly, the company is looking to grow, leaving room for upward mobility if you perform. You truly have every opportunity to succeed here, so it comes down to you. If you enjoy betting on yourself and are a competitive individual, this is a great place to be — you will thrive.
Cons
Sales can be challenging and competitive, requiring resilience and persistence. Success depends heavily on your own effort, this applies to any sales role.
Pros
Some sales advice that is taught is correct. Sometimes Tom pays for lunch.
Cons
Toxic owner who refuses to admit he is wrong and will belittle you and than wonder why people leave and just claim they are not cut out for sales. Toxic work culture where if the owner likes you it is harmony but the moment he starts disliking you he will degrade you and sometimes even throw things at you. Avoid at all costs.
