Pay is far below what employees deserve for conditions they work in. Operators are required to maintain multiple quals, courses, and testing to make lack luster pay increases. While off the street maintenance group starting pay is more than a control room operator makes, this is so very wrong. Tipping floor equipment operators make what an aux operator makes, while the AO is required to complete 5x’s as much training. This needs to end. The facility is beginning to hemorrhage employees who have had enough.
