Pros
The part time hours are great to balance life and additional work, like private practice. The school staff are super supportive of the staff and students and strive to foster success for everyone. Huge opportunities for growth and experience. Very compassionate, supportive, and empowering environment.
Cons
The pay is a bit low compared to other TA opportunities at comparable schools. Communication and organization isn’t perfect, and the school has grown quite quickly so that seems to be a bit of a staff capacity challenge. The school doesn’t always back up their policies with students who don’t want to be there or are affecting the learning of others - this is also a pro in some ways because the school focuses on compassion and opportunity for everyone so there is a lot of grace given to students.
