Pros

Working here has been an incredibly rewarding experience! The company does an excellent job of setting clear expectations from the start, so you always know what's expected of you and how you can succeed. While the work can be challenging, it’s also extremely rewarding — there is always something new to learn, and you’re encouraged to grow both professionally and personally. One of the best parts of working here is the supportive and uplifting environment. The team genuinely wants you to succeed, and leadership is always there to offer guidance and help when needed. It's a place where hard work is valued, but it’s also clear that the company is invested in helping you develop and thrive. If you're looking for a challenging role in a positive, growth-focused environment, this is the place for you!

Cons

While this isn't necessarily a "con," one area I’d love to see improved is the way holidays are handled. Currently, the major holidays like Christmas, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and the 4th of July are included in the vacation allotment, which can limit the flexibility when planning time off. It would be great if these key holidays could be offered as paid time off in addition to the regular vacation days. This small change would further enhance the already great work-life balance here.

Pros

What I like most about my company is its strong sense of direction and adaptability. Over the last twenty years, it has grown into a leading name in leisure travel, demonstrating remarkable consistency and commitment to clients. The company’s strategic roadmap aligns seamlessly with current trends, ensuring continued success and innovation. One of the standout aspects is how well the company addresses client needs. Its long-term client relationships highlight a dedication to excellence in marketing and sales, showcasing its ability to deliver value consistently. For software engineers, the company provides an environment where decision-making is well-supported by the deep expertise of colleagues in travel technology. This knowledge-sharing culture fosters innovation and helps build effective solutions. The team dynamic is exceptional—everyone takes ownership of their responsibilities, contributing their best efforts, often going above and beyond. Despite being a smaller company, the collaborative spirit is unparalleled. Employees work as a cohesive team, always ready to help one another, creating a supportive and motivating atmosphere. The company also strikes a great balance between prioritizing client satisfaction and caring for its employees, ensuring both thrive together.

Cons

Fewer Internal Career Ladders: With fewer layers of hierarchy, career progression might seem slower. On the flip side, smaller teams offer more direct impact, visibility, and close interaction with leadership, which can accelerate professional growth in unique ways.

Pros

Pay and health insurance were great. Overall atmosphere was good to work in. People were friendly. Asking for and receiving time off wasn't ever a problem, but number of days available were limited.

Cons

Time off provided in lump sum days and normal holidays were included in that. If you wanted Christmas/New Years off, you needed to take the day as one of your allotted PTO days. Communication between management and upper management was inconsistent. Manager told me I was doing well, but according to the higher-ups, I was not. Didn't know there was a real problem until it was too late. There were several weeks where my interactions with a co-worker consisted of a weekly touch base with the entire company (30-60 min), and a 30 minute touch base with my manager once a week. I get people get busy, but there just didn't seem to be any collaboration happening. Told to ask questions, but could tell it inconvenienced them to help clarify and provide feedback. Another con, and could be a deal breaker for some. Pay was once a month. For those on a tighter budget, you just have to plan accordingly.
