I have worked for the company for 36 years. Yes it's been hard work and sometimes very challenging but when you come through the other end and smile because that's exactly what we at river island love, the fast pace and change.
I started at 16 and worked my way up the company and not only get a fair salary fantastic discount and uniform allowance I have worked all over the UK and Paris!
I would honestly say working for the company now is the best it's ever been. Senior managers are much more receptive to ideas and opinions and just a lot more nicer!!

If you choose retail expect to change your time off at short notice work most bank holidays and never get Xmas off but that is retail everywhere
