Wonderful work environment and great management

I did not find any cons to working here

We have an opportunity to radically improve healthcare by developing novel machine learning technologies. It seems rare to find a job where the core work leads to a technical innovation, a positive social impact, and a meaningful economic outcome all at once. This is why I feel so fortunate to be a part of this team. And the genius of my colleagues cannot be understated; it feels as if everyone is in the 99th percentile of their respective field. Roam has a strong culture, clearly influenced by our ties to academia and the deep experience of our leadership. Our culture revolves trust. We have a very flexible work environment because everyone is committed to Roam's collective success. You know, when I think about it, all these factors must be why I'm so damn motivated to give it my all each and every day. We're just getting started and have much to prove, but Roam's future seems incredibly bright.

As is true of any startup, it's a fast paced environment and it's expected that employees are comfortable with a degree of self-management. Personally I thrive in these conditions but I realize it's not for everyone.
