Pros
A very stable work environment. Very low turn-over for key personnel., especially upper management.
Cons
It is a highly political environment. This can create a lot of unnecessary stress. The current management has been there for ages and are not going anywhere. This makes it incredibly difficult for newer people to rise through the ranks. Even when they are better than their superiors.
