Pros
Good work life balance with not very long working hours. Job security. Chance to work abroad. Brand name.
Cons
Pay isn't great but that's the story of the automotive domain. Peer group not great (its a mixed bag). But that depends on your expectation. Career growth, promotions in most cases is time dependent (like a govt. job) and not so much performance dependent.
