Pros

40 hour work week Quick management in 6-8 months time Shifts: A shift-9:30-3:30 B shift- 3:30-8:30 Full shift- 9:30-8:30 (hour lunch) Both A and B shift get 30 min lunches If you can deal with a the little crap and your wanting management opportunities fast then this is for you.

Cons

Pay: When I started at Robso I was under the impression that this job paid 14 an hour PLUS commission. This is INCORRECT do not let the manager have you believe otherwise just to get your first check and find out that was inaccurate. The pay structure is that if you make good sales that week (typically you'll make about 3-4 sales weekly) then you EITHER get your commission check OR hourly whichever has the high paycheck but NOT both commission PLUS hourly like me and other representatives believed. Its kind of hard to believe that there can be this much miscommunication. Commission: If you sell a DTV policy correctly you'll get about $140 commission off of it, selling phones is $50 Training: Training lasts about a week you go through the structure of a side by side with a laminated paper and some expo markers try to sell a customer on DTV products (you also can sell cell phones as well). Basically you practice the side by side with managers until you memorize the scripts fully (theres only one way to do the structure and thats the only way they will accept it to be done). Then after the first week of training you start going to Sams Club stores on your own. Theres more to the job then just selling the DTV products but thats all you really get trained on so the rest you kind of figure out by being on the sales floor. Clock-in procedure: You download an app on your phone called Telemapper to clock in and out of your shifts as well as sending a picture of your name tag and clock of the store your scheduled to be at for that day into a group me message thread of time punches. (Name-tag is a laminated piece of paper with your name on it) Manager actively changes weekly schedule without informing employees in a timely manner In a weeks time Ive seen two other employees quit. Pyramid scheme: Manager boasts daily about how you can be promoted to an owner in a short time, once your an owner you can open up your own office have employees under you that you'll get overrides off of. Making 70,000-100,000 a yr or so they claim. Paycheck: Even if you signed up for direct deposit you'll get a paper check for the first 2 weeks before that direct deposit chicks in. Shifts: Unless you have schedule restrictions you'll be working 6 days a week. Overall the job seems cheap.
