Pros

Awesome staff and management. In a company of around 500 employees I still felt valued and appreciated by the managers, supervisors and leading hands. Genuine care for the health and safety of staff. Full of talented people from all over the world. Don't be put off by the fact your working with geniuses, if your not already one. Rocket Lab is chocker full of great people who specialise in what they do and every team member is appreciated for their contribution. If you have good work ethic, you'll have a promising future at Rocket Lab. Too many perks to the job to list....a bunch of bonus things to discover if you get employed.

Cons

Standard pay for overtime, in New Zealand. Based in Auckland, New Zealand....expensive housing, living and not ideal traffic conditions. All manageable, approximately 1.6 million people make it work. If your life is based in Auckland this isn't a problem. Rocket Lab does support families living outside of Auckland and encourages holiday time off work for a healthy family/work life. This was however challenging for me with Covid-19 lock-downs, no fault of Rocket Lab and perhaps not an issue for you.
