Pros

You can get that bs agency perk culture anywhere. It's the same old agency in terrible locations

Cons

I consistently run into people who have worked or done work here and we all talk about the same things: Useless ECD, horrific CSO, terrible VP of Content and search, but lots of good people who work their asses off. Truly, it's a miracle that they manage to thrive. They do it by hiring low wage people with little experience and train them to follow their path. It' s their path or the highway, by the way, don't bother to voice a difference of opinion.

Pros

- Change - Self-starter environment - Brilliant, good people you can constantly learn from and grow alongside - Challenging, innovative, exciting work on top brands - Trust & flexibility: Work from home, as needed PTO - Choose your own adventure: Rockfish is extremely accommodating to those who show grit and initiative and dedication. If you want a new challenge, want to try on a new hat, you'll get the opportunity if you worked for it - Excellent leadership and culture in Business Innovations (Client Services) group - Beer at work - Casual environment (fart jokes boost morale, it's scientifically proven)

Cons

- Volatility driven by unpredictable market/industry changes - High-pressure environment, need to be comfortable with high(ish) stakes work if you want to advance here - Not a place to get comfortable in a routine, so if that's your goal don't work here - Summer camp/college dorm-like activities intended to "build culture" like marshmallow eating contests and trivia. Totally fine, but don't make people feel like they don't love Rockfish and their teams because they don't value this.
