Pros
Rockwell (formerly Allen Bradley) has been a foundation in Milwaukee for a long time. The pay is really good, depending on which project you are working on. It is close to downtown and there are great places to eat. There was no lack of work, so job security was not an issue. The cafeteria is pretty kick ass, too.
Cons
Management on the project I worked on over-committed a lot. We worked long hours, including weekends and holidays (though holiday work was compensated well). The building is NOT meant to be an office building. There are no windows anywhere, so at times you feel like you are in a prison. On the SAP project, the path for promotion is almost non-existent.
