Pros

Top management is attempting a culture of inclusion. As a woman in software engineering in the era of Google bro, I very much appreciate this, and in addition to knowing I have a great team to start with, it's a huge part of what made me choose Rockwell for a permanent position upon graduation.

Cons

Rockwell falls behind other companies when it comes to seeking out and retaining good engineers. There is a massive difference between a good engineer and a poor engineer, and the good ones make up their increases salary many times over. The managers know this, but HR does not always, and they will pay for that in this tight labor market as they continue to hemorrhage their brain trust.

This is great feedback, thank you for sharing - I've noted your comments and will share them with the appropriate parties. Capturing top talent is always a priority - but we're focusing on amplifying these efforts this year. We can't wait for you to see more, and we hope you'll take notice. Thank you, again!

Pros

Being salary was great you could always make up hours as needed. Starting with 3 weeks of vacation was also a plus.

Cons

Management was terrible. Heavy favoritism and toxic leadership. Instead of doing the jobs they push away the people that ask questions and those that actually cared.
