Pros
The workers of the company are wonderful. Meet the right people, and they’ll happily show you the ropes. There are a lot of opportunities to learn industry standards and solutions. Some of the new technology could really benefit the customers if the time is taken to create meaningful solutions that aren’t just about making money and loading up on unnecessary IT/OT.
Cons
Five organizational restructurings in as many years, in a single division. There were countless reshuffles in other divisions, including changing of entire departments into new scopes, elimination of customer support roles, managers being placed in charge of teams and work they have no understanding of. Management is awful. It really feels like they’re flying by the seat of their pants, and their understanding of customer needs is long since passed. Maybe it’s the shuffling that’s causing their inabilities, but it really feels like you’re just assigned work to look busy. No prospect of internal growth, and the advocation for personal growth has waned.
