Pros

The people that wrote negative reviews for Rokt on Glassdoor were upset. They did not have a positive experience working here - it is understandable that they would use a forum like this to share their frustration and have their say. For anyone that is considering joining the team at Rokt, please know that this does not represent the majority of peoples’ experience here. Working at Rokt will give you access to accelerated growth - on a personal and professional level. The people you will work with here are outstanding - each and every individual is kind and incredibly smart. Please note that the people/team at Rokt are listed as pros in every single negative review - do not take this lightly. The problems you will be solving here will be interesting. The benefits Rokt offers are very generous - we should get better at promoting these on our website: 25 to 30 PTO per year plus mental health days off, sick leave, learning days and volunteer days, 16 weeks for maternity, sabbaticals, fun events, yearly trips to exotic locations, healthy and delicious catered lunch, gorgeous modern office space - pet friendly; all sorts of allowance for wellness (physical and mental), training, phone coverage. People that resign usually say that leaving Rokt was the hardest decision they made in their lives. There is a reason for that!
Nobody asked me to write this review. It just made me sad to see a distorted view of Rokt portrayed on this website when in fact it is a very special place.

Cons

There will be cons at every workplace. No such thing as the perfect employer.

Pros

The paycheck was on time. The infrastructure didn't get in my way technically.

Cons

•Ideas I brought up in meetings were routinely dismissed, only to see the exact same ideas approved weeks later when repeated by someone within the inner circle. •Meaningful projects consistently went to those already tied into the right connections, and it was clear capability had little to do with it. •Real mentorship and guidance existed, but it happened in closed conversations I was never part of, while others received constant support from senior engineers. •Key decisions were made in small informal groups, and I would only learn about them after everything had already been decided. •I was repeatedly assigned lower visibility infrastructure work while others were given opportunities to grow through impactful projects.
