Pros
Decent pay, but not really at market level. Benefits are decent, but also not the best. Per diem is GSA rate. There are many good people at the site level. A lot of potential talent, but with leaders who don't know how to lead.
Cons
Corporate management is very disconnected from the field and demand rhe impossible. When you ask for guidance or clarification or help, you just get yelled at. People are definitely promoted too fast and placed into positions they are very unprepared for and then get little to no training or support. Or get placed into a position where they can never succeed...only fail The company wants to be an EPC for solar, but cannot figure out how to not act like the small subcontractor they really are. Wiring up a school or a hospital is small potatoes compared to a 250MW solar plant. Company is also so woke that they refuse to make some people do their jobs. But expect others to pick up their slack, even if it means working 14+ hours a day.
