Pros

None. Please pay attention to the latest reviews on Glassdoor; they come from genuine perspectives and reflect the reality of working at Routeware.

Cons

I regret to say that my experience at Routeware has been nothing short of dismal. The atmosphere of fear due to constant threats of firings and layoffs is suffocating. It seems that the company's primary focus has shifted from valuing its employees and fostering a healthy work environment to solely prioritizing profit margins. The corporate messaging reeks of insincerity, lacking any semblance of humanity or transparency. It's clear that the new executive team, which has undergone a complete overhaul in the past year, is more concerned with hiring their acquaintances and outsourcing work offshore than upholding the values and culture that once made this company great. Speaking of the CEO, their leadership leaves much to be desired. In my opinion, they are the worst I've ever had the misfortune of working under. Their disregard for both the well-being of employees and the environment is appalling. Routeware's culture has devolved into toxicity, with micromanagement running rampant. Instead of investing in the growth and development of existing employees, the company shamefully opts to replace them with off shore hires. For those seeking a workplace that genuinely values its employees and operates with integrity, I suggest you to look elsewhere. Routeware is nothing more than a sinking ship, driven solely by greed. Avoid this company at all costs.

Pros

There are great people at this company, unfortunately they're not the ones leading or making the decisions that ultimately affect everyone else.

Cons

Too many to list. The new CEO came in and immediately started putting his buddies in leadership positions. Instead of focusing on solving the issues with products and addressing communication between departments, he seems preoccupied with employee surveillance and outsourcing roles to India. Profit over people. So much talent and knowledge out the door and the company is just turning into another corporate machine. If you're looking for longevity or just a nice place to work, this isn't the company for you.
