Pros

The culture at Rover.com is amazing! People work really hard, help each other out and care about providing a quality service to dogs and their owners. I can honestly say that I haven't come across a single person that doesn't give their all, every day. The commitment to excellence is obvious, the office is a fun place to be and the work-life balance is wonderful. Most people are able to work from home once a week and if personal time is needed, there isn't hesitation in saying "yes, take whatever time you need." The executive team is well-balanced, driven and involved with all employees as much as possible. The benefits are really great; some of the best I've ever had: 4 weeks of PTO (with additional days earned for being a Rover sitter); good health insurance (though I haven't used it much, so can't attest to all of the details); free Orca card; lots of company events, happy hours and free food; you can bring your dog to work; etc.

Cons

Because it's a rapidly growing company, there are some minor growing pains with communication and schedules are packed, so it can be difficult to schedule meetings/have available conference rooms. But, it's a part of the fun of a fast-paced startup! The one benefit that is lacking would be a pet insurance stipend. It only seems like the next logical benefit for our employees.

Pros

Great platform, profile covers all the important points

Cons

Very limited inbound requests, would have expected more in a high density area for dog ownership

Pros

Good work-life balance, collaborative engineering culture, dogs, two-sided marketplace is an interesting product to work on, forward-thinking about AI tools.

Cons

As the overwhelming market leader in the space (RIP Wag!), there is maybe some complacency.
