Pros
- Phenomenal health benefits. - Fair compensation. - Remote work. - Unlimited PTO for salaried employees.
Cons
- Absolutely no culture or values. Working for Rubicon is like biting tofu. Bland, no taste, no flavor, nothing interesting. It is a job and it pays. That's it. I always feel disconnected, lonely. No diversity. Leadership team is all white-boys club, honestly they all look like @AustinNasso characters. Last tiny bit of diversity & culture effort is gone with Elizabeth M. - No one knows anything. Everyone relies on other parties to correct some part of their work. Everyone does a half-ass job. Lack of training is an issue. Not being able to shadow people to learn is an issue. - No job security. Every morning I woke up thinking this was my last day. Multiple waves of layoffs happened in the last 6 months. Definitely not a good mood. Rubicon became a penny stock company pretty quickly. It's been released that Rubicon might be profitable in Q4 23. That's a loooooong way. - This is unfortunately not a SaaS company, this is a trash brokerage company with a nice UX facade. The massive amount of manual work at the background needs to be automated.
