Once you are settled, able to work independently, manage own time. Small agency, which can have it's pros and cons. Somewhat flexible work hours but geared around an 8-5 M-F schedule.

High turnover of talented people. Difficulty retaining employees. Benefits lacked. Some of the producers can have high expectations and micro manage a bit. The employees that have worked there for a long time are there for a reason- probably couldn't hack it elsewhere, adverse to any type of changes, improvements to workflows. No leadership. No real effort to help clients. It's very much an 'every person for themselves mentality' and blind leading the blind situation. Personal lines department non-existent, clients handled poorly.

He was nice and complimentory to start our conversation to work with him - he had me believing him

He asked me to watch a video and respond to him that night or the next day via text and I received a response back that basically said Don't call us we'll call you. I gave it a week and found out his kindness was basically that of a wolf in sheep's clothing. Beware of him being nice - it's B.S. sprinkled with whipped cream. Glad I never got the chance to work for him because how much more B.S. does he shell out daily?
