Coming from pubic school to Ruffing, I found that there aren't any slackers on staff at this school. Everyone is focused on the mission of providing the best education possible. Students leave 8th grade ready to thrive at public, parochial, and independent schools. Teachers cooperate well with each other and administration is fair and supportive. Students and families seem genuinely appreciative of the school. Salary and benefits are more than competitive with other independent schools.

Not much to say in this regard. Sometimes people at Ruffing are a little too self-congratulatory for my taste.

Great students, many lovely families. You have a lot of freedom to run your classroom as you see fit. Generous salary.

Not very much support or guidance is provided, especially to onboard new staff members. You can feel dispensable and undervalued.
