Pros

Really great culture, everyone at Runna is passionate about the company and this translates into hardworking employees that truly care about the success of the app. There's a lot of trust and autonomy, as an employee you're expected to be proactive with your work and are given the responsibility and opportunities in turn. The C suite are very accessible and down to earth, it's nice to be in a company where the C suite are well integrated with the rest of the employees. Employees are given the time in the working week to run/exercise which makes a difference to have flexibility to fit exercise in the work day. Generous allowance too for race entry, kit etc., plus great socials/office budget.

Cons

The company has big goals and targets, so it can feel like there's a lot of pressure all year round, but this is as expected for a startup in a big growth period. The recent acquisition by Strava promises not to change the culture of Runna, but only time will tell as the acquisition continues. Just hoping Runna keeps it's fun but still fast paced culture.

Pros

The benefits package is equal to or stronger than most companies at a similar stage of growth. Our team is passionate about the product we are building, and it makes it very easy to feel fulfilled by the work I am doing. There are many opportunities to expand in your role outside of what is explicitly written in the description, and most teams are willing to accept input/contribution from all perspectives. Also, we get paid to run/workout once a week, can't beat that!

Cons

There's definitely a strong start-up culture; you are not able to coast in your role. It's a strong culture of advancement and excellence, which can bleed into work-life balance.
