Regretfully, when a company closes, it feels much like a death in the family. One goes from shock, to denial, to anger, and then the sad acceptance. It is oblivious that the person who wrote this was in the anger stage. Which saddens me greatly. All of these accusations, with the exception of the Hawaii reward trip, are false. (We never made it to Hawaii as by the time we reach that revenue driven goal, we already were going down the path of closing the company. It would have been fun seeing everyone enjoy the success of reaching the goal.)
Unlike most companies that are closed, we are paying our final financial obligations as fast as funds are made available. RAOO has paid, and is still paying, tens of thousands of dollars to ensure that contractors and associates are paid the correct amount. If you are reading this, and have not been yet paid or contacted, please contact me.
The client accusation is just another angry cheap shot that is totally untrue. We always took care of our clients to the point where I personally paid to refund deposits on two projects that RAOO would not be able to start and complete when the Board of Directors decided that RAOO needed to close.
Too bad RAOO did not scale up to a industry leading entity. During the early growth years, we had our share of laughs, tears, successes, and setbacks. A lot of good memories mostly offset the pain of the final year.
Peace to all and good luck in the future
