Pros
I have a background in lab work. When I joined Russo, I was told that someone would teach me how to become a communications pro. I have received great support from my supervisor and peers. The top executives here are also very approachable and helpful. We have a series of classes that explains what we do and how to learn PR. This is fantastic
Cons
It is a lot of work for us, and sometimes we have to work extra hours. This is not surprising. I was told from the beginning that we have to cater to the clients. This makes sense. If someone wants to work 9 to 5, this industry of PR is not for him or her. This is what I have learned is the norm for the industry.
