Analyst - Anonymous employee Ryan Labs Employee Review

I've interned at Ryan Labs for 7 months (4 months part-time, 3 months full-time). It was an absolutely valuable experience. I was given the opportunity to learn in depth the core analytical methods of liability driven investment (LDI) solutions. Under supervision, I was given real cases to work on. When done with each project, I had time to develop my own project. I was able to contribute and make an impact at Ryan Labs as an intern, which is a very rare and valuable experience an intern can get. The people here are very nice and collaborative. Management is very caring and supportive. My direct supervisor/mentor tried to pass down her knowledge and skill as much as she possibly can, for which I cannot express how grateful I am. Salary is great. I don't get benefit as an intern so I don't know about it. Work/Life balance is good. Come in between 8-9am and leave between 5-6:30pm. And that's the schedule for me, an intern who tries to impress the company. I was often told to go home at 5:30pm. Overall, I think my internship at Ryan Labs outweighs 3 mediocre internship experience put together. Again, I highly recommend it to anyone.
