Very little opportunity for advancement, but that is partly the nature of the work. Difficult to switch shifts. Not flexible, hard to take days off. As a warehouse worker they are not really concerned with your personal life/plans if it interferes with work at all. Though this is usually reasonable considering the type of work it can go overboard.
