Pros

Nice employees, above-average pay for the area, free lunch on Fridays, occasional access to ski passes.

Cons

Management is extremely ineffective at maintaining a level of consistency with job functions/performance. A lot of internal turmoil with voices being raised on a regular basis. Dealing with the CEO will make you want to gouge your eyes out....which is what he is counting on. He hates paying unemployment, so once he's done with you (and trust me, turnover is SUPER high because nobody can possibly hit this guys expectations) he will make your life an absolute hell until you just quit. I know the job looks good, but I assure you, those good looks are nothing but a mirage

Pros

Generally when a workplace touts itself as drama free and dedicated to honesty, those statements are so dry you could start a fire with them. In my experience, however, these are genuine traits of the SCOTTeVEST atmosphere. Being able to bring your dog to work with you (and being able to take them out when they need to go) is great - you know you're not leaving your best friend alone at home crated all day (and your trash will stay safe at home while you're not there to guard it). The friendly atmosphere encourages and fosters actual friendship with your coworkers through weekly get togethers outside of work (a company perk includes the company covering costs for food and drink at a local bar - with excellent food, might I add - when 3 or more employees are together). The product is worth selling! As an employee, you also get a small clothing allowance every few months so that you can acquire some of the clothing to wear whether at work or in your personal life. The area is beautiful - if you're in to hiking and adventuring and skiing, it's the perfect location.

Cons

The area is a little remote - it's about an hour's drive to the closest Walmart, so you'll need to learn how to minimize shopping trips. Meetings with management can prove frustrating if you are not accustomed to being spoken to bluntly. Not rudely - but bluntly. Typically, they are quick to the point rather than dragging out the conversation.
