Everything you do is a manual nightmare, there is no automation whatsoever, it doesn't matter what you are trying to do (client reports, billing management, incident reports, account updates, asset audits) - its all time consuming, manual slog work. There is no innovation at Seacom at all. No one maintains accurate documentation on the clients, what they have in their environments, what vendor or circuit numbers are currently in use, what the client is being billed for - nothing. Any attempt to address serious client queries can take days to weeks complete. Attempts to clean up the data and bring it up to date is dragged and met with heavy resistance from all teams involved. You have to threaten escalation to management to get buy in sometimes. Management will not take suggestions or advice. They will just stonewall you until you stop trying to fix things and keep quiet. There is absolutely no corporate culture at all. Everyone is just covering themselves and avoiding work while looking for jobs elsewhere. There is no career progression, none. No matter what they tell you in the interviews, its an open lie that they will tell you straight to your face. You will sit and do 1-1 with your manager, but nothing will change and any attempts to progress are blocked. You work here if you want to put your career on pause.
