      Great internship experience with supportive mentorship - Software Engineer(Internship) SEB AB Employee Review

      Pros

      I did my lia internship within my education at Chas Academy to becoming a frontend developer. I got a great introduction to the company, courses to learn about the organisation and to the team i joined The Green Design system team. And a mentor Joacim Magnusson that guided me in how they worked with frontend development and what i should focus on. I also did my examcourse at SEB, i developed an accessibility tool to keep track on all the WCAG rules and that you could review your app/website with this tool.

      I’m not sure if there’re any.

      Cons

      They put out their job advertisement in english but only hire Swedes or people who know swedish. Honestly in 2025 everyone in such institution knows english so their requirement doesn’t make any sense. They obviously discriminate against expats. If you email them in english enquiring about a role role, they’ll just ignore you. Ever heard about diversity and inclusion, SEB? Why bother to write advertisement in english at all?
