      great work/life balance and interesting work. predictable hours.

      not much opportunity for promotion. Salary only increases incrementally year over year; lately the increases have barely kept up with inflation

      Things have changed under the current Republican administration, but the SEC has always been known as a great place to work with the highest salaries in the federal government and very family friendly
