Pros

Seemed like a nice enough working atmosphere with nice employees.

Cons

I became ill a week into training, and rather than allowing me to restart with the next group, I was fired. The irony of the NHS firing people for getting sick is not lost on me. This is a horrible thing to do to a new employee for something that is entirely out of their control. It's understandable that employees can't miss any training days, and shouldn't put other employees at risk of illness by coming in, but kicking them out of a job in this difficult work economy on grounds like this is a cruel and arguably discriminatory practice. Shame on SECAMB. I hope nobody else has had to go through something like this with them after months of job searching.
