Pros
The total value proposition with the new headquarters office building; generous pay, vacation and benefits; along with the people make it absolutely a great place to work. With modernizing the system landscape you have the opportunity to not only work with legacy technology but also technology that is bleeding edge.
Cons
The IT department is making great strides to modernize and is well ahead of similar competitors, however it can be siloed. Also, it can be a struggle to advance advice from your experience elsewhere and drive better change. I have also witnessed other managers other than my own not have consistent expectations.
