Pros

Good location: Midtown, New York

Cons

A truly terrible intern program. Half the company is based in Arizona and half in NY, which made meetings a mess because they were always on skype, where there was technical issues, time changes, etc. I started as an intern, and there was NO intern manager or someone to direct us. The first day we sat in a room waiting hours for someone to teach us the CMS, and going forward we were expected to figure our every single thing on our own. We were literally left to our own devices, with no direction, no personalized attention and we had to turn to random people for help, most of the time on Slack because they were in a different state. I'm all about taking initiative and showcasing skills and potential, but when there is no one to turn too for direction or someone is too busy to answer questions it makes it difficult. It was like who cares about the interns and their potential for growth. Eventually we were offered part time positions, most likely because the additional work was just a bit too much for the person in the position. Again, there was minimal training and really no potential for growth. After months and months they had no interest in internal promotions for us, and there was no explanation after our resumes were dismissed. You think because we had been interns/working part time they would have the decency to explain their decision.

Pros

- The good people are really good - Teams are so lean you feel super valuable always (sometimes too valuable)

Cons

- Management lacks self-awareness; huge popularity contest - Don't try getting promoted because it won't work and if you do get promoted, your pay bump is a joke
