The quality of work is decent A lot to learn - greenfield project finance, working capital, LC, BG etc Salaries and perks are on par with NABARD People are relatively less corrupt
Cons
Work culture is screwed - people in branches are made to work past 8 everyday and they even work on Saturdays and public holidays Office politics No regard for the personal lives of employees No clerical staff so the junior level officers have to do most of the clerical work Promotions are quite slow
