SIEC India Response
10yRather in Chandigarh branch in particular we have had an experimentation in terms of our HR policy and recruitment, wherein we crossed the organisational conventional model. As an organisation we experienced deceit, hatred by some co-workers towards other co-workers. This was a new to our organisation which had always flourished on camaraderie and courtesy towards colleagues. So we had to take some hard calls. It was a painful process but in the process we did our best to follow the best of HR practices of: counselling, coaching, reconciliation, warnings.
We are happy that we have left that behind us and have come out of the phase unscathed. We feel the influx of some energies goes wrong but there is no pre-warning during the process of selection that can help you analyse the selection and the baggage they are possibly bringing on board. it is easier to comment on these portals than to see rationale or go through self reflection. Since we have deployed far more in the process screening to understand and see through the personalities. We won't be repeating some mistakes. Good to luck!!!
